The SAIT Trojans take on the St. Mary's University Lightning in the gld medal game of the 2025 Championships

As the SAIT Trojans and St. Mary's University Lightning face off in the gold medal match of the 2025 ACAC Championships, the atmosphere is electric, and both teams are prepared to battle for the championship title. Fans are eagerly anticipating an intense showdown as the players gear up to give their all on the court.
The SAIT Trojans secured a dominant victory over STMU in the ACAC gold medal game with a final score of 82-46.
SAIT's offensive firepower was led by Brook Baker (G), who put up 20 points on 8-for-18 shooting, including three three-pointers. Anegor Wol (5'10''-F-1998) contributed a strong performance as well, adding 17 points and grabbing 8 rebounds, while Macy Mulholland (G) was lights out from beyond the arc, hitting 5 of her 8 attempts for a total of 18 points. Vlada Hozalova (5'5''-G) also chipped in with 16 points, knocking down four three-pointers, and Kitawna Sparks (5'11''-F) dominated the boards with 12 rebounds, finishing with 9 points. SAIT shot 43.2% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range, maintaining a strong offensive presence throughout the game.
On the other side, STMU struggled to find their rhythm offensively. Maitlynn Miller (5'7''-G) led the way with 18 points and 8 rebounds, while Kendal Russell contributed 10 points, going 3-for-7 from three-point range. Despite their efforts, STMU shot just 31.0% from the field and 20.8% from beyond the arc. Eva Nickerson (G) added 8 points and grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to keep pace with SAIT's offensive efficiency.
With a balanced attack and strong defense, the Trojans out-rebounded STMU 39 to 33, limited turnovers, and executed well on both ends of the floor to clinch the championship.
