Semi-Final Round
In the first game of the semi-finals, the Dawson College Blues faced the Champlain Saint-Lambert College Cavaliers. The Blues caused the surprise by having the upper hand over their opponents by a score of 71-62.
In the second semi-final, the Dynamiques du Cegep de Sainte-Foy disputed victory against the Geants du Cegep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. The Giants managed to reach the gold medal final following a victory in a very close game by a score of 70-67.
Final Round
The Cegep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Giants faced the Dawson College Blues in the provincial grand final. The Giants managed to get their hands on the title of provincial champions with a 70-54 victory. The RSEQ will therefore be represented at the Canadian Championship by the Dawson College Blues and the Cegep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Giants.
The bronze final opposed the Cavaliers of College Champlain Saint-Lambert to the Dynamiques of Cegep de Sainte-Foy. The Cavaliers managed to secure the bronze medal with a 68-62 victory.
Most Valuable Player
Rosalie Mercille (171-G-2003) of the Geants du Cegep de Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu won the title of most valuable player of the provincial championship thanks to her excellent performances throughout the championship.
