Timberjacks made 36-of-42 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Griffins ' players. Griffins were plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Greg Foster (190-1989, college: SVSU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 11 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winners and Paul Parks (-1990) chipped in 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side Courtney Stockard (196-1995, college: St.Bonaventure) responded with 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Marcus Latham (191-1998, college: Indianapolis) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Five Timberjacks and four Griffins players scored in double figures. Griffins' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
