Finals Game 3: Potawatomi F. - St.Louis G. 98-89

Potawatomi Fire clinched TBL 2023 title. They outgunned Saint Louis Griffins in the decisive third game of the championship series. Fire outrebounded Griffins 56-41 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Fire made 13 blocks. 27 personal fouls committed by Griffins helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for point guard Daylon Guy (183-1992, college: Tarleton St., agency: PBAplayers Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Guard Deshawn Munson (193-1995, college: Harris-Stowe St.) helped adding 14 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Fire players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard BJ Young (191-1993, college: Arkansas) with 25 points and 4 assists and guard Marcus Latham (191-1998, college: Indianapolis) scored 18 points. Griffins' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
