Capitals outrebounded Seakings 52-36 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Capitals made 9 blocks. Center Vincent Boumann (206-1996, college: WOU) fired a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Montigo Alford (175-1992, college: Boise St.) chipped in 21 points and 6 assists. Four Capitals players scored in double figures. Swingman Nigel Jones (201-1990, college: Talladega) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Greg Foster (190-1989, college: SVSU) added 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side.
