Semi-Finals Game 1: Niagara - Fraser Valley 84-82

Niagara River Lions held off Fraser Valley Bandits to advance into CEBL Final. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-13. But Fraser Valley won second period 23-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Niagara made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Javin DeLaurier (208-98, college: Duke) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and British-Canadian guard Philip Scrubb (191-92, college: Carleton) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-91, college: Pikeville) responded with 18 points and 7 assists and Jamaican-Canadian point guard Shaquille Keith (198-93, college: Cape Breton) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
