Regular Season Round 15: Hamilton - Niagara 81-84

Important game to mention about took place in Hamilton. Third ranked Niagara (8-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging second-best Hamilton (9-5) 84-81 on Thursday evening. It was a good game for British-Canadian Thomas Scrubb (199-91, college: Carleton) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Jaylen Babb-Harrison (193-93, college: EKU) contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lindell Wigginton (185-98, college: Iowa St.) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Rwandan-Canadian guard Jean-Victor Mukama (203-94, college: Ryerson) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hamilton. Four Hamilton players scored in double figures. Hamilton's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Niagara. They maintain third place with 8-5 record having six points less than leader Edmonton. Hamilton at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Niagara will play against Ottawa (#5) at home in the next round. Hamilton will have a break next round.
