Syracuse knocked down Raleigh to complete the sweep. Stallions outrebounded Firebirds 59-42 including 21 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Stallions made 12 blocks. The best player for the winners was swingman Trahson Burrell (201-92, college: Memphis) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Center Jacquil Taylor (208-95, college: Hofstra) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks. Five Stallions players scored in double figures. Forward Tony Farmer (201-94, college: Lee JC) produced a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Shaquille Dance (193-93, college: Limestone) added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests.
