Regular Season Round 15: Lewisville L. - Shreveport M. 117-128

Very expected game in Lewisville where 8th ranked Leopards (3-8) were defeated by third ranked Mavericks (8-2) 128-117 on Sunday. Mavericks dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Leopards' 56. Mavericks forced 20 Leopards turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Leopards were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for point guard AJ Mosby (188-96, college: Chattahoochee TC) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists. Paul Parks (193) helped adding 30 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was point guard Micheal Lenoir (180-1) with 33 points (!!!) and 9 assists and point guard Chase Winchester (183-98, college: UNK) scored 27 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mavericks. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Jamestown J. and Kokomo B. Leopards lost their fifth game in a row. They dropped to the seventh place with eight games lost. Mavericks will face Prestige (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Leopards will play against Skyline and hope to win that game.
