Regular Season Round 12: Columbus C. - Jamestown J. 124-128

Everything went according to plan in Columbus where first ranked Jackals (6-1) won against 5th ranked Condors (2-4) 128-124 on Sunday. Jackals made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Condors were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Dane Miller (201-90, college: Rutgers) who scored 29 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Christian Nobles (175-92, college: USC Aiken) chipped in 27 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Cordaryl Ballard (195-87, college: USC Aiken) who recorded 39 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals and guard AJ Davis (198-83, college: JMU, agency: Interperformances) added 29 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Jackals have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-1 record, which they share with San Diego G. and Kokomo B. Condors lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. Jackals will have a break next round. Condors will play against Hustle (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
