An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Louisiana. Second ranked Push faced one of their biggest challengers Mavericks. Guests from (7-1) defeated host Mavericks (5-2) 126-115. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mavericks. They outrebounded Mavericks 52-39 including 37 on the defensive glass. Push players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 29 personal fouls committed by Mavericks helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by Jordan Allen (193-98, college: Lynn) who scored that evening 32 points and 7 assists and Devine Eke (203-96, college: Radford) supported him with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Even 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals by point guard AJ Mosby (188-96, college: Chattahoochee TC) did not help to save the game for Mavericks. Center Jahmere Howze (201-97, college: Virginia St.) added 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Push and five Mavericks players scored in double figures. Push have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader San Diego G. Mavericks at the other side keep the third place with two games lost. Push will have a break next round. Mavericks will play against Royals and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
