An interesting game for Breeze (2-4) which hosted in second-ranked Ballers (2-3). Third ranked Breeze managed to get a 4-point victory 108-104. Breeze forced 29 Ballers turnovers and had a 24-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by forward Troy Jones (201-92, college: TAMUK) who scored that evening 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Xavier Lee (183-93) supported him with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Lee is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists by guard James McPherson (185-95, college: UTPB) did not help to save the game for Ballers. Center Aziz Leeks (203-95, college: Idaho Coll.) added 19 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Five Breeze and four Ballers players scored in double figures. Breeze maintains third position with 2-4 record having four points less than leader San Diego G., which they share with Lewisville L. Loser Ballers keep the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Dallas S.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
