Regular Season Round 8: Wolves - Royals 79-101

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Wolves (6-2) in Alameda on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by fifth ranked Royals (4-4) 101-79. Royals shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 62.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Cambodian Mariah Cooks (185-1994, college: WSU) who helped to win the game recording 47 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and guard Jasmine Guinn (168-1995) who added 17 points during the contest. Guard Rebecca Harris (173-1986, college: Illinois, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Hannah Langhi (188, college: Cent Arkansas) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Royals moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Phoenix. Wolves at the other side still keep top position with two games lost. They share it with Swish and Blaze.
