Regular Season Round 4: Swish - Riptide 89-73

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Swish (3-1) beat 6th ranked Riptide (1-3) in Oakland 89-73 on Saturday. The winners were led by guard Alexsis Brown (170, college: CSU Maritime) who scored that evening 23 points and swingman Madison Michelis (180, college: Menlo) supported her with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Even 22 points by Trinitee Cannon did not help to save the game for Riptide. Guard Kayla Moutry (175-1999, college: Tulsa) added 11 points for lost side. Five Swish and four Riptide players scored in double figures. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Phoenix. Riptide lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Reign. Swish will meet at home bottom-ranked Valkyrie (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Riptide will play against the league's second-placed Phoenix and hope to win that game.
