Cameron Gaines claims BSL Hoops Agents weekly honour

American Cameron Gaines (203-F, agency: DITR) had an amazing evening in the last round for Windsor Express and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The forward had a double-double of 32 points and 13 rebounds, while his team edged out Lake Erie J. (#5, 2-16) 110-109. Windsor Express maintains the 4th position in BSL . Windsor Exp. is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-10 record. In the team's last game Gaines had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Windsor Express's top player in his first season with the team. Lynn University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Gaines is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 7.4rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 57.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American forward Ke'Tarrious Bouchum (196-F-1998) of Lake Erie Jackals. Bouchum impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Jackals was edged by slightly higher-ranked Windsor Exp. (#4, 10-10) 110-109. Lake Erie is still second from the bottom in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Jackals managed to get this year. Bouchum is a newcomer at Lake Erie and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Shakur Daniel (198-G-1999) of Montreal Toundra (#3). Daniel showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 9 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Toundra, leading his team to a 102-99 win against #2 ranked Sudbury F. in a game of the week. Montreal T. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 6 lost games. Daniel has a very solid season. In 15 games in BSL he scored 7.9ppg.
