27-year old point guard Latin Davis (183-PG-1997) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Windsor Express and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
He had the game-high 34 points adding six rebounds and nine assists for Windsor Exp. in his team's victory, helping them to beat London L. (#4, 10-12) 111-105. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Windsor Express to consolidate first place in the BSL league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Windsor Exp. has a very solid 16-5 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Davis had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He has many years of experience at Windsor Express, through which he has constantly improved. Wayne State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Davis is in league's top in points (3rd best: 21.4ppg), assists (2nd best: 5.9apg) and averages solid 55.1% FGP and 43.0% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Scottie Lewis (196-G-2000) of London Lightning. He is American guard in his first season at London L.. In the last game Lewis recorded an impressive 30 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course London Lightning cruised to a 133-122 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Sudbury F. (#2, 15-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. London consolidated its place in top 4 of the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-12 record. Lewis is a newcomer at London and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Windsor Exp.'s star - center Vincent Boumann (206-C-1996). Boumann scored 27 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was another key player of Windsor Express, helping his team with a 111-105 win against #4 ranked London L.. Windsor Express confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 16 victories and 5 lost games. Boumann has a very solid season. In 7 games in BSL he scored 17.7ppg. He also has 9.1rpg and a FGP of 65.0%.
