Guard Shadell Millinghaus (188-G-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for Albany Patroons, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 29-year old player tried to help (50 points, nine rebounds and eight assists) his team in a lost game to Sudbury F. (#4, 18-13) 130-135. Patroons maintains the 5th position in their group in the BSL . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Albany P. will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 15-10 record. In the team's last game Millinghaus had a remarkable 58.8% from 2-point range and got seven three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at Patroons, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Georgetown College star has very solid stats this year. Millinghaus is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 9.0rpg), assists (2nd best: 7.6apg) and averages impressive 59.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was American Jaquan Lightfoot (203-F) of league's leader Kitchener-Waterloo Titans. Lightfoot had a very good evening with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Titans to another comfortable win outscoring Midwest's leader Cincinnati W. (#0, 0-0) 153-119. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Midwest. KW Titans consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team has currently 22-10 record. Lightfoot is well-known at KW Titans and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Armani Chaney (178-PG-1997) of Newfoundland Rogues (#3). Chaney got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for six rebounds and ten assists. He was a key player of Rogues, leading his team to a 113-104 win against #2 ranked London L.. Newfoundland R. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Canadian Group. Their record at this point is 19 victories and 14 lost games. Chaney has a great season in BSL. After 33 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 29.8ppg (best scorer) and assists with 7.8apg (best passer). He also has a FGP of 57.2% and 3PT: 41.7%. Chaney attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
