Experienced Odyssey Sims (175-PG-1992) had a very impressive game in the last round for Gold Rush and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 33-year old playmaker got a double-double of 29 points and 10 assists, while her team crushed Eclipse (#1, 7-4) with 16-point margin 98-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Gold Rush maintains the 3rd position in AUPron . Gold Rush is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-5 record. In the team's last game Sims had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Gold Rush, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Baylor University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Sims is league's best scorer averaging so far 23.0ppg. Sims is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 5.2rpg) and assists (2nd best: 4.8apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Gold Rush's star - young guard Aneesah Morrow (185-G-2003). Morrow impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Of course together with Sims she helped Gold Rush with another comfortable win 98-82 over slightly higher-ranked Eclipse (#1, 7-4) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Gold Rush consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. Her team's 6-5 record is not bad at all. Morrow is one of the most experienced players at Gold Rush and similarly like Odyssey Sims has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was NaLyssa Smith (193-F-2000) of top-ranked Eclipse. Smith scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). Despite Smith's great performance the Eclipse lost 82-98 to #3 ranked Gold Rush. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Eclipse needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 4 lost games. Smith has a very solid season. In 3 games in AUPr she scored 18.0ppg.
