Natasha Mack claims AUPron weekly honour

Montenegrin-American Natasha Mack (190-F-1997, agency: LBM Management) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Glow and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 14 points and 17 rebounds, while her team edged out Rhythm (#4, 0-7), the league's bottom-ranked team 80-78. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Glow to consolidate first place in the AUPron. Glow have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Mack had a remarkable 53.8% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Glow, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Oklahoma State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mack is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 14.5rpg) and averages solid 3.0bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward NaLyssa Smith (193-F-2000) of second-ranked Eclipse. Smith impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Eclipse lost that game 88-95 to slightly lower-ranked Gold Rush (#3, 3-4). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Eclipse still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Smith is one of the most experienced players at Eclipse and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.0ppg (#6). Her other stats are also decent: 15.0rpg and 4.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was Rebekah Gardner (185-G-1990) of Rhythm (#4). Gardner scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Despite Gardner's great performance the Rhythm lost 78-80 to #1 ranked Glow. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Rhythm can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 7 games.The season just started for Gardner as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.
