NaLyssa Smith (193-F-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's second-best Glow and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 16 points and 16 rebounds, while her team beat Rhythm (#4, 0-3), the league's bottom-ranked team 86-73. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Glow maintains the 2nd position in AUPron . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Glow will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Smith had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at Glow, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Baylor University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Smith is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 9.7rpg) and averages solid 57.7% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Montenegrin forward Natasha Mack (190-F-1997, agency: LBM Management) of Rhythm. Mack impressed basketball fans with 9 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Rhythm lost that game 73-86 to Glow (2-1). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Mack is one of the most experienced players at Rhythm and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was Asia Taylor (188-F-1991) of top-ranked Eclipse. Taylor scored 22 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was a key player of Eclipse, leading her team to a 101-83 easy win against #3 ranked Gold Rush in a game of the week. Eclipse started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Taylor turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Taylor has a great season in AUPr. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.5ppg (4th best).
