Tri-City Suns join ACPBL - Jan 20, 2011

The Atlantic Coast Professional Basketball League has announced yesterday that, otherwise than previously announced, the Virginia Avengers won' t join the league this season, due to being unable to secure a venue on the short notice.
The new ACPBL team will be the Tri-City Suns professional basketball team. This team is a former American Basketball Association (ABA) playoff team from last season and will fuly replace the GreenHawks in league schedule.
In consequence:
**Everyone who was scheduled to play the Washington GreenHawks should now replace that opponent with the Tri-City Suns.
**This opponent change only effects the Hudson Valley Kingz, Tru Hope Trailblazers and Beltway Bombers.

ACPBL Metro Guard nets a triple double - Aug 16, 2012

Jared Nowell (6'3''-G/F-84) of the ACPBL Metro summer league netted a triple double against The NYC Jaguars. Nowell the Brooklyn, N.Y. native has been somewhat of castaway in the minor league scene. Nowell has bounced around to 3 ACPBL teams in the last year just looking for the right fit.
