The KBDL is growing again...Sorta sideways

KBDL management has recently worked out a deal to own and operate a team in the ABA, as well as the Louisville Basketball League, touted as the only 'minor league for the ABA'. Both the CRUSADERS and the LBL are based in Louisvile, KY, will be operated totally independent of the KBDL. They also took control of the ABA online magazine, reporting and writing for the ABA.

'This is an exciting venture' quoted Cliff Todd, KBDL Commissioner. 'Im looking forward to it.' The Crusaders are not the KBDL Plus; it is an official ABA team and will be operated under the conditions and rules set forth by ABA Commissioner Joe Newman.

KBDL Management is very familiar with the ABA. Todd is a former coach for the Kentucky Colonels and some of the staff of the Colonels now work with the RiverCity Gamblers. Cliff is friends with several coaches in the ABA and the KBDL has sent many players to staff ABA teams, including last seasons Championship team, the Bisons.
