The Southern Indiana Showcase featured 2 games, a KBDL dunk contest, raffles, drawings, a music concert and free hot dogs. In the first game the Louisville Gamblers defeated the CX Express 102-75. Sean Hampton led the Gamblers in scoring with 24pts, Shannon Wilkerson scored 14. Brandon Stockton (University of Kentucky) poured in 24 for a losing cause including 7 3pters. In the night game Craig Schoen (Lipscomb University/ Georgetown College) continued his MVP season with 30pts and 14 assists as the league leading Southern Indiana Generals defeated the Hazard Shooting Starrz 115-96. The Generals placed 6 players in double figures lead by Schoen. Kevin Reinhardt (Georgetown College) scored 20pts to help the Generals. The Shooting Starrz Daniel Price scored 29 and Lanere Anderson 20. |
