Four new teams added to ABA - Sep 10, 2018

Over the past week, the American Basketball Association and ABA co-founder Joe Newman announced the addition of four new teams, all set to begin play in November
The first one is the Los Angeles Smooth, owned and managed by Gerald Jackson, Chairman of G.E. Jackson & Asssociates, Inc, a full-service business management consultant firm headquartered in LA with offices in NYC and also CEO/President of River Eagle Media, Group LLC, a company focused on digital media entertainment production as well as e-commerce. The second one is Quad City Flames, located in Spanaway WA. The team was established in 2016 by US Air Force veteran and coach Marcus "Doc" Stancil as a non-profit program. The team name represents Spanaway, Yelm, Nisqually and joint-base Lewis-McChord. "Doc" served as GM for two local minor league teams before creating the NFP program to give players an opportunity to play at a higher level. For more information, email quadcityflames2016@gmail.com
The third one is the 305 Ballers located in Miami, FL The 305 Ballers are owned by Ernesto Cambo, Principal, CPF Investment Group, a botique investment group with interests in real estate and affiliate services including finance, legal, construction and marketing. Mr. Campos is also Managing Member, Ave, LLC, a mixed use commercial project proposing to construct a 2.5 million square foot Master Planned Aviation Related Business Park. On the basketball side, he is President of Miami East Side Sports, a 501c3 non profit organization that built an indoor basketball and training facility which trains athletes and he has also funded multiple youth travel programs and tournaments. The last team added is the KC Grillers. The team will be owned by Justin Craddock, owner of a successful Remodeling & Renovationsd Company, that has been remodeling homes in the Midwest for the last seven years. Parramatta Wildcats to join ABA League Australia - 1 day ago
