ABA names Players Awards and All-ABA Teams for 2009-2010 - Apr 12, 2010 
At the same time, the American Basketball Association named its players Individual Awards and the All-ABA teams for the season just ended. 'Equally as difficult as naming these awards was the task of naming an All-ABA Team,' stated Joe Newman. 'We have such great talent in this league and there are so many deserving players. We decided to name three teams plus honorable mentions - and certainly do not want to slight any of our great players.'

ABA names 2009-2010 All-Star teams - Mar 18, 2010
Some days ago, the American Basketball Association released its 2009-2010 All Star teams and once again, it showed the tremendous talent throughout the league. 'This was very tough this year,' stated Joe Newman , ABA CEO. 'We have so many teams and so many great players, it was really difficult and we do feel that we've left quite a few players off that definitely deserved recognition for their outstanding play. One thing is for sure, I'd put either the East or West team up against any team in professional basketball, including the NBA, and it would be very competitive.'
