Over the past weekend, Chicago Fury beat Illinois Bulldogs, 132-130. Devante Jones (6'2''-G/F) led the way at 35 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and scored the game winning tap-in at the buzzer. Juan Brown (6'3''-F, college: Kishwaukee CC) added 27 points, 5 Rebounds, 5 steals; Darrin Johnson (6'2''-G, college: S.Arkansas) scored 19 points, Anthony Knowles (6'5''-F) added 15 pts and 6 rebs, Quavell Pierce 10 pts, 10 rebs, 4 steals and Reggie Gallion (6'9''-C) 8 pts and 12 rebs. Darius Saafir performed for 8 pts, 5 rebs, 5 blocks and had game saving block to give the Fury the ball back with 6 seconds left. Royce Parran (5'10''-PG-85, college: Chicago St.) scored 40 points in an impressive losing effort.
Just before the game Chicago Fury had signed Djari Nelson 6-8 Miles College, Jalen Ordonez 6-0 Southern Illnois, Darius Saafir 6-6 Daley College, Jimmie Miles (6'2''-G-84, college: Robert Morris) and Darrin Johnson (6'2''-G, college: S.Arkansas)
