The (UBL) open the 2010 season with a barn burner! What a Game! The 2009 defending UBL champion Oklahoma Impact came to play vs runnerup Arkansas Warriors. The game open like two prize fighter going toe to toe (after all these are the same 2 teams that battle it out in the championship game last season) the lead change back and forth without either team getting a clear advanage in the 1st quarter

The (UBL) open the 2010 season with a barn burner! What a Game! The 2009 defending UBL champion Oklahoma Impact came to play vs runnerup Arkansas Warriors. The game open like two prize fighter going toe to toe (after all these are the same 2 teams that battle it out in the championship game last season) the lead change back and forth without either team getting a clear advanage in the 1st quarter. The second quarter ended with the Warriors scoring 33pts and going into the half with a 1pts lead with a score of 60 - 59. Things begin to heat up even more in the 3rd qtr. with the Warriors scoreing 37pts to take a 8pt lead going into the 4th quarter. Like a champion the Impact made a furies run to take the lead in the 4th qtr. before the Warriors size and balance scoring attack begin to take its toll. The Warriors was lead in scoreing by former (NBA D-League Star) Jammal Brown 6'8 with 21pts. formerly of the LA LAKERS (D- League team the LA Defender). Darrius Eason 6'11 former UALR Star was second with 18pts New signee Brian Howard 6'8 former Harding University Star was tied for 3rd with 2 time (UBL) ALLSTAR Daniel Watson 6'6 with 16pts each.New Signee point guard Eddie Withers 6'2 finish with 14pts and 8 assists and 2 time ALLSTAR guard Derrick Knox 6'1 chip in 14pts as well 3rd yr (UBL) guard Marcelle Goins 6'3 finish with 13pts. 2009 1st team ALLSTAR forward Tyrone Davis 6'8 added 10pts 3yr veterans Chris Young 6'2 6pts and Herman Harris 5'11 2pts closed out the scoreing. With the 130-111 win the Warriors take sole possession of 1st place in this young (UBL) season. The (UBL) is more than just a game!!!

The Springfield Thrill will be holding open tryouts on Feb. 20th at Glendale High school in Springfield, MO. Registration will be at 10:00am and work-out will be 11:00 - 1:00. Tryout fee is $50 for all players not on UBL roster last season. Any player that makes the roster will be refunded his fee. Contact GM/Head Coach Sean Williamson with any questions 417- 849-3734
