For our 11th season of pro basketball in Texas the TPBL will have a returning city for the 2011 season, and 3 new entries into the league. MIDLAND,TX will be making a return to the TPBL for the 2011 year with a new owner and a new attitude. Owner Edward Mayberry plans on bringing a title to the permian basin area in his 1st full season as a team owner. So for the fourth year the TPBL will be hosting the 4TH ANNUAL WEST TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SHOOT OUT. SAN ANGELO, TX - In our efforts here with the TPBL we've tried to keep basketball alive out in west Texas for many years. Some of the best teams in Texas will come out to San Angelo Tx to showcase their skills and represent their high schools and cities. Chris Cardenas tpbl league owner ,' the 2009 shoot out had four state ranked girls basketball teams and the boys division had some high flying sharp shooting teams as well. SAN ANGELO,TX - due to heavy construction at the championships site, the TPBL championships will be rescheduled to SATURDAY APRIL 24 with all games times to stay the same. We welcome all to come catch some of the best basketball action in Texas.
