| | | Central teams sweep Baptist Bible McPherson Sentinal
After two rugged MCAC games earlier in the week, Baptist Bible was just what the doctor ordered Saturday for the Central Christian College basketball teams. The Central men romped to a 103-79 victory, while the ladies improved on their sparkling regular-season record with a 93-44 cakewalk. Louis Collins scored 19 points to lead five Tigers in double figures, but it was Aaron Mattingly who got CCC off and running in to a 56-26 first-half explosion with all 15 points he scored in the game. Patrick Green scored 18 for the Tigers, Jordan Crawford added 14 and Chris Crawford supplied 11. Daniel Johnson scored 28 for Baptist Bible, which scored 53 points in the second half, though mainly against the CCC second-line players.
