| |  | Ron Lewis (6'4''-G-84, agency: Arik Krayn Services, college: Ohio St.) was picked up by the Thunder. A second-team All-Mid American Conference honoree as a sophomore, Lewis (6-4, 195) averaged 17 points and nearly 5.0 rebounds a game as a sophomore. In just two seasons he shot 420 free throws, making 340 for a foul-shooting percentage of .810. Throughout his career, Ron scored 1,560 points, made 497 rebounds, and had 248 assists. He is an 80 percent career foul shooter and has NBA three point shooting range. |

| |  | Scott Hundley (6'5''-G/F-81, college: Vanderbilt), 185 lb forward pushes the Express down the court in every game with 20.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. Scott wants to continue his playing career in Europe, and will be a great player for the team that picks him up. |

| |  | Michelle King becomes the first female assistant coach in the KBDL. From a leader on the court at Marion County HS, to a basketball scholarship at Transylvania University to a leader with the Lancers, Michelles basketball career has come full circle; the Lancers home court is her old high schooland they welcomed her with open arms. Michelle is preparing to take the helm of a KBDL expansion team next season. |

 | Boris Siakam Signs with Lancers | |

| |  | Western Kentucky University forward that helped take WKU into the Sweet 16 has become a Lancer. The 6 ft -7in 225 lbs Forward from, Douala, Cameroon has already become a major force in the KBDL. Boris Siakam (6'7''-F, college: W.Kentucky) is expected to be picked up by a FIBA team this season. At WKU he shot 75 percent from the field, posting 10 outings without missing an attempt, that included hitting 3-of-4 three-points, nine assists and eight steals ... Converted 65 percent at the free-throw line and added 13 dunks as a junior. |

| |  | Kentucky Thunder Point Guard, Stefan Dunn (University of Cincinnati - Clermont) was named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national player of the year, and was named first-team all-Ohio Regional Campus Conference. |

 | KBDL signs a Giant of a player | |

| |  | James Cripe (7'0''-C-84, college: N.Kentucky) was the first 7-footer to ever play at Northern Kentucky University and the first to play in the KBDL. Cripe came to KBDL from playing Pro in Denmark, scoring 28 points in his first appearance with the Northern Kentucky Thunder. His height, combined with his basketball knowledge, inside scoring, rebounding and defense, makes the Thunder a team to be reckoned with. |

 | Thoroughbreds sweep the Generals, only team winning both matchups this season | |

| |  | Player/coach Anthony Lefevers happy with come from behind victory against the Generals. The Generals hot shooting during the first quarter led by 19 points but was cooled off in the 2nd quarter by good defense. Right before the half, the breds made their run to make it close and was only down by 6 points at the break. During the 3rd quarter, the breds started to take control of the tempo and control of the game. Final score 108-105. The Breds were led by Sean Hampton-Alderson-Broaddus 31 points, Antonn Melton-Wilberforce 21 points, Antonio Davis-Urbana 16 points, Caleb Halcomb and Brian Stawter with 11 points a pierce. For the Generals, Perrin Johnson-Louisville 35points, 13 rebounds, Kevin Reinhardt-Georgetown 30 points and 11 rebounds, and Craig Schoen-Georgetown 16 points and 11 assists. |

The Southern Indiana Showcase featured 2 games, a KBDL dunk contest, raffles, drawings, a music concert and free hot dogs. In the first game the Louisville Gamblers defeated the CX Express 102-75. Sean Hampton led the Gamblers in scoring with 24pts, Shannon Wilkerson scored 14. Brandon Stockton (University of Kentucky) poured in 24 for a losing cause including 7 3pters.
In the night game Craig Schoen (Lipscomb University/ Georgetown College) continued his MVP season with 30pts and 14 assists as the league leading Southern Indiana Generals defeated the Hazard Shooting Starrz 115-96. The Generals placed 6 players in double figures lead by Schoen. Kevin Reinhardt (Georgetown College) scored 20pts to help the Generals. The Shooting Starrz Daniel Price scored 29 and Lanere Anderson 20. |
