KBDL Basketball
KBDL players hit the boards for another Kentucky team - Nov 20, 2008 (by Thom McQueen)
Players from the KBDL now grace the roster of a new ABA team, the Kentucky Bisons. LaMar Owen (6'5''-F-83, college: S.Illinois), Boris Siakam (6'7''-F-85, college: W.Kentucky), Brandon Stockton (5'9''-G-84, college: Kentucky) and Jamie Jackson (6'5''-F-86, college: Bellarmine), and Aubrey White (6'3''-G-85) have all signed to play professional basketball for the Boson. All four have shown their talents in the KBDL.

All four have shown their talents in the KBDL. 'Well, you know that they will have a good team and will give the fans a great show', said KBDL VP Kevin Listerman.
The KBDL signed over 20 players from the 2008 season. 'Brandon is one of my favorite players, he's just a great guy', said Thom McQueen, 'I certainly hope he does well with them.'
Good luck to the Bison from all of the KBDL.

Commissions for Kentucky Colonels are given by the Governor of Kentucky and the Secretary of State (Trey Grayson) to individuals in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to their community, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the nation.

Commissions for Kentucky Colonels are given by the Governor of Kentucky and the Secretary of State (Trey Grayson) to individuals in recognition of noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to their community, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the nation.
The Commission were awarded to:
Commissioner Clifford Todd; Ernie Robinson, Lancers General Manager; Chris Hamilton, Lancers Marketing genius and 2008 Executive of the year; Jay Leftin, Assistant Coach, Northern Kentucky THUNDER; James Scott Coach, the EXPRESS; and Tony Adams, Publisher, the Clermont Sun (newspaper). Tony has supported and helped grow both the league and the leagues newspaper (the Full Court Press) since before the start of the league.

Generals Coach B.J. Aldridge has moved on to the college coaching ranks of Rockford College, in Rockford Illinois. His bio on the college web site states that B J '...also brings professional experience to the Regents' sideline as head coach and general manager of the Southern Indian Generals of the Kentucky Developmental Basketball League, where his responsibilities include coaching, marketing, and general team management.'
