Commissioner has stated that after the NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament the league per season tournaments will start play with its teams from Colombia, Guatemala, and El Salvador this will give players from colleges that have not been given a chance to play in Portsmouth Invitational Tournament or All Star Games. Players that have not played international with talent a chance to show their skills. Our main goal is to show the world what kind of league we will have in the Fall of 2013. We are still looking for players and there are 24 position open for this season. Workouts will be APRIL 5-6,12-13, 2013 this two day workouts will be in Birmingham, Alabama. Americas Basketball International Commissioner Anthony Toney stated that the league is on schedule to begin its 30 game season schedule in February to April 2013. There will open the season with SAN MARCOS, UNIVERSIDAD TECNOLOGICA from El Salvador Basketball Federation this season opener and the other teams would be add from Central and South America. This season we have several leagues out of Central America partner with the ABI to put together a very exciting league.

Finally The Wait is over for the ABI The Elite League to play says Commissioner Toney. ABI will have its Tip Off Classic with four of its teams from Liga Elite de Baloncesto de El Salvador and ABI. March 25-27, 2011 are the dates for the ABI Tip Off Classic which at that time the league will showcase four of the best team in it. SAN MARCOS, EX ALUMNOS COLEGIO SALESIANO, (ExSAL), Gladiators, Wolf Packs, we will play a 20 game season for about 21/2 months which would allow everyone to see the level of play and the talent in this league. The leaguewill consist of 10 to 12 teams from USA, Central and South America. Our Central America teams with their Commissioner Yamil Bukele has got the best talent and teams out of El Salvador and now the wait is over and everyone is ready to play in Birmingham, Alabama for the classic.
