The San Antonio Stars today announced that they have signed center Briana Day (6'4''-C-95, agency: LBM Management) to a training camp contract. Day (6-4, Syracuse) averaged 9.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.75 blocks in 22.8 minutes during four seasons with the Orange. She finished her collegiate career as Syracuse's all-time leading rebounder (1,124) and is the first women's basketball player in school history to record 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. Day also finished her career third in program history in total blocks (236). She was named to the 2017 ACC All-Defensive Team and led the conference in offensive rebounds (156), also ranking second in rebounds per game (9.4).
