The Seattle Storm signed free agent guard Jennifer O'Neill (5'6''-PG-90, college: Kentucky) to a training camp contract. The 5-5 guard appeared in 13 games for the Minnesota Lynx in 2015. O'Neill signed a training camp contract with the Connecticut Sun prior to the 2016 WNBA season but was waived before the start of the regular season. She has a career high of 12 points, five rebounds and three assists. She represented Puerto Rico at the 2012 FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Atlanta Dream waived 24-year old center Rachel Hollivay (193-93, college: Rutgers, agency: ProDep Management). But in 7 WNBA games she recorded just 1.3ppg and 1.3rpg. Hollivay managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). Hollivay ended the last season at CREF Hola in Spanish LFB where in two games she averaged only 1.0ppg and 3.5rpg. Atlanta Dream cut 24-year old guard Brianna Kiesel (170-93, college: Pittsburgh). But in 8 WNBA games she averaged just 1.5ppg and 1.1apg. Kiesel managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). The last season Kiesel played at UNI Gyor in Hungarian A Division where in 26 games she had 11.2ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.5apg and 1.8spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals.
