Nika Baric
The Lynx have released guards Nika Baric (5'7''-PG-92) and Courtney Clements (6'0''-G-89, college: San Diego St.). Per a news release from the team:
Baric, a 5-7 guard, was originally selected by the Lynx in the second round (20th overall) of the 2012 WNBA Draft and signed with Minnesota on February 4, 2015.
Clements, a 6-0 guard, originally signed a training camp contract with Atlanta Dream in 2013. She has averaged 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 60 career WNBA games. The Lynx defeated New York on Thursday in their preseason opener and host Washington on Sunday at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester. The regular season begins May 14 with a home game against Phoenix at Target Center.

Nneka Ogwumike (6'3''-F-90, college: Stanford) had 25 points and 10 rebounds to help Sparks beat the Indiana Fever 87-70 on Tuesday night. Los Angeles, which took over the top spot in the AP WNBA power poll this week, jumped out to a 20-6 lead and it was 50-36 at the half behind 17 points from Ogwumike.
