San Antonio Silver Stars released 27-year old power forward Danielle Adams (185-89, college: Texas A&M). She played there also last season. In 30 WNBA games she had 7.4ppg and 3.3rpg.
Adams managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year.
The last season Adams played at Tango Bourges Basket (LFB) in French league. In 8 games she recorded 11.6ppg, 4.1rpg, 1.1apg and 1.4spg. She also played 6 games in Euroleague where she recorded 14.7ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.8spg.
The last (14-15) season Adams played at Maccabi Ashdod (D1) in Israeli league. She helped them to win the league title and the supercup. A very impressive season as she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League 1st Team and All-Imports Team.
In 2011 Adams was drafted by San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
She attended Texas A&M University and it is her fifth season in pro basketball. Adams was voted WBCA All-NCAA D1 Honorable Mention back in 2010 at her college time.
Adams has played also professionally in Italy (Pall.Pozzuoli).
