Seattle Storm waived 24-year old center Cierra Bravard (193-89, college: Florida State). But in 5 WNBA games she recorded just 0.6ppg and 1.0rpg this season.
Last season Bravard played at Argon Uni Girona (LFB) in Spanish league. In 25 games she averaged 8.6ppg and 4.3rpg. She helped them to make it to the supercup final and to the league semifinals.
The last (2012) summer Bravard was tested by San Antonio Silver Stars.
Among other achievements her team was regular season runner-up in ACC for two years in a row (2009 and 2010). Bravard received also All-ACC 3rd Team award in 2012 at her college time.
Bravard graduated from Florida State in 2012 and it is her first season in pro basketball.

Maya Moore (6'0''-SG-89, college: Connecticut) had 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots, and Sylvia Fowles (6'6''-C-85, college: LSU) scored 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Seattle Storm 78-71 on Sunday.
