The New York Liberty have re-signed Kara Braxton (6'6''-C-83, college: Georgia). The centre will enter the second straight season with the Liberty. Kara Braxton is playing in Russia currently. She is the member of Nadezhda Orenburg squad. Her stats read 9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game in PBL. Last season Kara Braxton tallied 6.7 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per appearance for the Liberty. Previously she had spells for the Shock and the Mercury. The centre also played in Poland, Turkey, Italy and China. She was named All-Polish PLKK Centre of the Year in 2006. Kara Braxton also claimed All-Chinese WCBA Player of the Year award back in 2010. The centre was the member of the USA National Team back in 2006.
