The San Antonio Silver Stars re-signed Ziomara Morrison (6'4''-C-89, agency: Regeneracom Sports). The Chilean centre will enter her second straight season with the Silver Stars. Last season Morrison notched 2.1 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in the WNBA. She is currently playing for Rivas Ecopolis in Spain. Ziomara Morrison posts 15.0 points, 9.5 boards and 1.0 assist per game in LFB. Previously the centre had spells for Banco di Sicilla Ribera and Arranz-Jopisa Burgos.
The Silver Stars also signed Julie Wojta (6'0''-G/F-89, agency: LBM Management, college: Wisc.-Green Bay) and Yvonne Turner (5'9''-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports, college: Nebraska) to the training camp contracts.
Julie Wojta appeared in just one game in the WNBA last season. She played that game for the Lynx. She is currently playing for Belfius Namur in Belgium. Her stats read 15.7 points and 7.7 rebounds in D1. She also tallied 14.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per appearance in EuroCup.
Yvonne Turner spends the current season in Russia. She plays for Dynamo-GUVD Novosibirsk. Her stats read 13.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.3 boards in EuroCup. Yvonne Turner also delivers 14.5 points, 3.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game in PBL.

Elizabeth Williams(6'3''-C/F-93, college: Duke) of the Atlanta Dream is expected to be named the 2016 WNBA Most Improved Player on Wednesday, sources told ESPN.
