Jamierra Faulkner sidelined with injury - 26 days ago
Chicago Sky guard, Jamierra Faulkner(5'6''-PG-92, college: S.Mississippi), will miss the 2017 WNBA season with a left knee injury. Faulkner will undergo surgery this week to repair her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Faulkner sustained her injury while playing overseas for the Polish Women's Basketball Team, CCC Polkwice, in April. Faulkner averaged 7.8 ppg, 1.5 rpg and 4.6 apg during the 2016 WNBA season. Kelsey Plum (5'8''-G-94) made her preseason debut for the San Antonio Stars on Saturday, tallying 19 points and five assists in an 87-81 win over the Dallas Wings. Tiffany Hayes and Bria Holmes arrive at Atlanta Dream training camp, Nirra Fields and Peyton Little waived - 30 days ago
Guards Tiffany Hayes (5'10''-G-89, college: Connecticut) and Bria Holmes (6'1''-SF-94, college: W.Virginia) have joined the Atlanta Dream training camp active roster after playing overseas in Israel. The team waived guards Nirra Fields (5'9''-G-93, college: UCLA) and Peyton Little(5'11''-G-93). Hayes, a five-year veteran, is the Dream's top returning scorer after averaging 15 points per game in 2016.
