Houston and Katy Texas in WBCBL for 2016 - Jan 13, 2016

The RSF Sport LTD Companies have expanded their women's basketball programs as the Houston Resurrection and Kay Lady Saints Basketball teams will play in the Women's Blue Chip Basketball League 2016 Season, starting in May 2016. The teams will combine and play in the Classico Rosado Tournament in Rosario Beach Mexico on March 18-20 2016.

'Our vision is to represent the Houston area with the best women's basketball players that the represents the true tested and talented players in the area' RSF Sports CEO and Saints Basketball coach and GM of both teams Michael Lewis who states ' We will bring back women's basketball the way it was defense and fast-paced' He added.

Both teams feature some great athletes for the Resurrection, They will feature veteran Guard tandem 5'6 Christina Rowe and 5'7 Nicole Duncan, 5'6 Forward Suzette Garrett and 6'1 Center /Forward Nikki Rochelle. The Resurrection will be coached by Leon Rowe.

The Katy Saints will feature 6'6 Center Kai Allen, 5'11 Forward Dominique Washington, 5'7 Guard Essence Darrett, 5'3 Guard Bethany Roden and 5'10 Forward Tiffany Johnson-Grice. Coach Michael Lewis will coach the Saints. Both Resurrection and Saints will play in the WBCBL Mid-South Region.

The Resurrection and Saints are still seeking players as they will hold private tryouts on Sunday, January 10th, 2016 and the city wide tryout on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the St. Thomas University Jerabeck Center. Lyndsay Harris (ex Hondar.-Irun) signs at Lady Diesel - 12 days ago
Dallas Lady Diesel landed 27-year old guard Lyndsay Harris (175-90, college: Arkansas). She played recently at Hondar.-Irun in Spanish LFB league. Harris missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Harris received SEC All-Freshman Team award back in 2009 at her college time
