Metro Atlanta Sparks 50 Atlanta Lady Legends 47

The Metro Atlanta Sparks defeated the Atlanta Lady Legends by the score of 50-47 in WUBA action giving new Sparks Head Coach Brittney Hollins her first WUBA win. The Sparks were led by Aqueelah 'Q' Watkins who scored 16 points and 13 rebounds. The Lady Legend were paced by Lynette Holmes (6'0''-G/F-92, college: Langston) who scored a game high 32 points in the losing effort.

Southern Lady Generals 60 GIE Lady Matrix 58

The Lady Generals edged the Lady Matrix by the sore of 60-58 in WUBA action. The Lady Generals were led by Hasina Muhammad (6'1''-G-93, college: Auburn) who scored 19 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. The Lady Matrix were led by Briana Williams (5'7''-G-92, college: Mercer) who scored 21 points. The Lady Generals trailed by 11 at half-time, but had a 20-10 3rd quarter run to setup a hard fought 4th quarter with several lead changes. Shenneika Smith (6'1''-G/F-89, college: St.John's) contributed double figures with 10 points for the Lady Generals and Ry'Van Buchanan (5'11''-F) contributed double figures with 11 points in the losing effort for the Lady Matrix.
