Ricky James
Texas Cyclones added to their roster 33-year old guard Ricky James (193-91kg-84, college: Trevecca Nazarene). It is actually his comeback to Central Texas Cyclones as he has played here before. James played last summer at Bundaberg Bulls in Australian QBL. In 16 games he recorded very impressive stats: 23.1ppg, 6.9rpg and 3.3apg in 2015 season.

Part of previous (2014-15) season James spent at Al Mina (D1) in Iraqi league. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League 2nd Team. He also played that season for Nift Al-Janoub (D1) in Iraqi league. Great season indeed as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iraqi League 2nd Team.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others James won UBA championship title for two years in a row (2012 and 2013). He was also voted Usbasket.com All-UBL Player of the Year back in 2011.

James is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in six different countries. James has played previously professionally in Dominican Rep., Uruguay, ABA (Georgia Gwizzlies), Dominican Republic (Santa Ana), SEBL (Smyrna K.) and UBA (GIE Maile Matrix, Metroplex Lightning, DFW Warriors and Nashville M.).

He attended Trevecca Nazarene until 2008 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
