Georgia Spartans tabbed 26-year old swingman Glen Rice Jr. (198-93kg-91, college: Georgia Tech). It is actually his comeback to Georgia Spartans as he has played here before. Rice Jr. played in the summer at Halcones in Salvadorean Liga MB, but left. In 8 games he averaged impressive 18.6ppg, 8.5rpg, 3.8apg and 2.4spg. The last season Rice played at Georgia where in 8 UBA games he had very remarkable stats: 19.6ppg, 6.8rpg, 2.8apg and 1.5spg.
In 2012 Rice was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in fourth round (55th overall). He attended Georgia Tech and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements Rice played in the final of NBA Pro Summer League in Orlando in 2015. He received also USBasket.com D-League All-Rookie 2nd Team award back in 2013.
Rice has played previously professionally in NBA (Washington Wizards) and D-League (Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Iowa Energy).

John Der (6'4''-G/F-87, college: St.Katherine) and Bradley Smith (6'6''-F-85) contributed 20 points each for the Generals. Chris Crutchfield and Donnie Lee (6'4''-SG) came up with 15 points each for the Sharks.
