ATLANTA, GA-- Fort Worth F.I.R.M.'s Oliver Miller (6'9''-C-70, college: Arkansas) is the recipient of the Trinity Trophy as the 2015-16 UBA Coach of the Year, the UBA announced Friday. Under Miller's stewardship, the FIRM finished with a league-best 17-3 (.927) mark and the No. 1 seed in the UBA Playoffs.

In earning his first UBA Coach of the Year, Miller totaled 60 points, including 58 first-place votes, from a panel of 30 owners and coaches throughout the Universal Basketball Association. Coaches were awarded five points for each first-place vote, three points for each second-place vote and one point for each third-place vote. The award was presented by Chick Fil A.

The FIRM went 17-3 (West) -- the league's best record -- despite beginning the season as the league's third-youngest franchise, and not having a player score more than 16.7 points per game during the regular season. According to UBA.com/Stats, the FIRM ranked third in assists (24.4 apg), generating an assist on 60.0 percent of their made field goals. Fort Worth ranked fifth in player impact estimate (53.8 percent), offensive rating (107.6) and net rating (+5.6).

In his first season as an UBA head coach, Miller earned two Western Conference Coach of the Month awards during the 2015-16 campaign. He won for March after leading Fort Worth to a conference-best 4-0 (1.000) mark, which included wins in the first 12 games of the season, feeding a 15-game, franchise-tying-best winning streak. He earned his first monthly nod in January after the FIRM opened the Atlanta with a 3-0 (1.000) record. The Fort Worth F.I.R.M. has the best coaching staff in the league. The Waters brother continue to build a dominate franchise in Texas.

Oliver Miller is a former NBA player. He spend nine season in the NBA for 8 different franchises.

The FIRM will open the playoffs June 24th in Atlanta Georgia as the top seed.
