Brian Kelly (6'8''-F-85, college: Clayton St.) put on an amazing game in the last round for GIE Maile Matrix that lands him USBasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5.

The 27-year old forward had a double-double of 18 points and 20 rebounds, while his team outclassed Southern Generals (#5, 0-2) with 28-point margin 98-70. GIE is placed at 1st position in the Southern Conference and 2nd in the UBA. The 2013 GIE is regarded as the best team in UBA history. They need more victories to to be ranked #1 but they will. Kelly is on pace to be the conferences' top forward in his first season with the team. Brian Kelly averages this season 14.0ppg and 19.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was point guard DeAndre Bray (5'6''-G-85, agency: Gamble Sports Management, college: Jacksonville St.) of Georgia PRIME.. Bray impressed basketball fans with 10 points, 14 assists and 4 steals. Of course Georgia PRIME cruised to a 105-95 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Georgia S. (#3, 0-2). Barnes scored 24 points and grabbed 6 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of GIE, leading his team to a 98-70 win against the lower-ranked Southern Gerenals (#5, 0-2). GIE confirms their top position in the standings in the South. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 0 lost games. Barnes is having a great season in the UBA. After 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.0ppg (1st best). He also has 4.5apg and and 3PT: 50.0%.

Lightning strikes Cyclones double overtime - 6 days ago
Texas Cyclones were short handed when they faced the Metroplex Lightning. This game has been amped up from the beginning of the season. Xavier Rogers led the Lightning with 21 points and 7 rebounds.
