Former Southern Generals 1st round pick Luis Guzman (6'4''-G-87, college: Temple) (6'4''-G-87, college: Temple) has agreed to terms with Aalborg Vikings (Denmark) for the 2012-2013 season.

Guzman was the fifth overall selection in the 2012 UBA draft. He was selected by the Southern Generals and was selected to help led the Generals back to the promise land. It's now on hold as Guzman heads to Europe in hopes to turn around the Vikings.

Before joining the Generals Guzman played in the Dominican Republic for Capitanes de la Bahia where he was named league Rookie of the Year. He also played on the Dominican National Team with Atlanta Hawk Alfred Horford (6'10''-F/C-86, college: Florida).

Guzman will return to the Generals after all-star break.   



Lightning strikes Cyclones double overtime - 4 days ago
Texas Cyclones were short handed when they faced the Metroplex Lightning. This game has been amped up from the beginning of the season. Xavier Rogers led the Lightning with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Rookie Jacolby Anderson dropped 20 points with 7 rebs. Former D-League standout Vernon Lewis contributed with 16 points and 11 rebounds also.
