Jermaine Barnes (6'5''-G/F-82, agency: Gamble Sports Management, college: Point, GA) is out of action for at least seven weeks. He tore several ligaments in his shooting arm this fall in the Williams Jones Cup (Taiwan) with Team USA. "There was nothing I did wrong", said Barnes. It's just something that came with time. I guess i shoot too much, Barnes said jokingly at the 2012 UBA draft. Barnes is expected to return January 1, 2013 in time for the GIE Maile Matrix run at another title. The Matrix will face the Georgia PRIME is a heated rivalry game verses Michael Davis (GIE Maile Matrix former coach).

Barnes is the UBAs reigning MVP and UBA champion. He led the UBA in scoring with an average of 30.2 points per game in 22 games. He was also named All-United States 2nd Team along with his selection to the USA National Team for the William Jones Cup in Taiwan.


Hamilton bringing new franchise to UBA - 8 days ago

The UBA recently announced this week that they will be expanding into Hamilton, Ohio for the 2016-2017 season. Hamilton Heroes BC will be entering their 2nd season as an organization. They played last season in the Midwest Basketball League and qualified for the playoffs out of the East Division with a 7-5 record. David Walls Reports 9/28/2016 The Basketball Club VGO Basket Vigo (Spain) has announced the addition of Johnathan Murphy (6'6''-F-89, college: Columbus St.) of the Georgia PRIME (UBA). It was announced on Ebro Channel 21 a few weeks ago. Murphy is a player who relies on his athletic ability, strength and great post moves.
