Center Jordan Railey (213-C-92) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Rochester R., receiving a Usbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (15 points, eight rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Jamestown J. (#4, 8-6) 109-96. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Rochester R. maintains the 2nd position in PBL PBL. They are still close to the very top. Rochester R. would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 11-2 record. Railey just recently signed at Rochester R., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jordan Railey averages this season 8.6ppg and 6.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old Dominic Trawick (192-G-88) of Washington W.. Trawick had a very good evening with 30 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Washington W. lost that game 95-115 to the higher-ranked Jamestown J. (#4, 8-6). Washington W. managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Washington W. managed to get this year. Trawick is a newcomer at Washington W., but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Jordan Bowling (198-F) of Jamestown J. (#4). Bowling showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, thirteen rebounds (!!!) and five assists in the last round. Despite Bowling's great performance Jamestown J. lost 96-109 to #2 ranked Rochester R.. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Jamestown J. needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Bowling has a great season in PBL. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 9.3rpg (3rd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anthony Jackson (196-G-89) of Dubois D. - 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Brandon McGee (198-G-89) of Kentucky M. - 13 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Nathanial Hill (F) of Jamestown J. - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Nicholas Waddell (200-C-90) of Kentucky M. - 13 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Deverell Biggs (185-G-92) of Rochester R. - 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Julius Francis (211-C) of Dubois D. - 16 points and 14 rebounds
10. Corey Allmond (188-G-88) of Rochester R. - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Glisson becomes sole owner of the Lake Michigan Admirals once again - 4 months ago
As of Monday, August 7th, 2017, Chris Glisson will officially be the sole owner of the Lake Michigan Admirals once again. The James family, who had major plans to move the team to Warren, Michigan, had a huge setback when a major investor group decided that they were not going to be able to help this upcoming season. This put the James family in a financial pinch and that's when Glisson and Mr. and Mrs. James had a meeting to decide what the next step was going to be. Glisson made a very...   [read more]
