Robert
Crawford
Swingman Robert Crawford (201-G/F-90) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Kentucky M., receiving a Usbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 26-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, eight rebounds and three assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Dubois D. (#8, 0-10) with 29-point margin 114-85. It allowed Kentucky M. to consolidate first place in the PBL PBL. Kentucky M. have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Crawford had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Kentucky M., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Robert Crawford averages this season 6.3ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 27-year old Brett McKnight (198-F-89) of Ohio Bootleggers. McKnight had a very good evening with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he led Ohio Bootleggers to another comfortable win 121-106 over slightly lower-ranked Washington W. (#7, 1-4) being unquestionably team leader. Ohio Bootleggers' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 5-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. McKnight is a newcomer at Ohio Bootleggers, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.1ppg (#3).

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Dominic Phillips (180-PG) of Washington W. (#7). Phillips got into 30-points club by scoring 34 points in the last round. He went also for nine assists. Despite Phillips' great performance Washington W. lost 106-121 to slightly higher-ranked Ohio Bootleggers (#5, 5-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Washington W. can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Phillips he does not play for a better team. But maybe if he did, his season stats would not be that high. Phillips has a very solid season. In 4 games in PBL he scored 25.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bryant Osei (195-F/G-90) of Washington W. - 24 points and 10 rebounds
5. Anthony Jackson (180-PG-85) of Dubois D. - 26 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Maurice Greene (F) of Chautauqua H. - 16 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Robert Crawford (201-G/F-90) of Kentucky M. - 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Brett McKnight (198-F-89) of Ohio Bootleggers - 25 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Cordaryl Ballard (196-G-87) of Ohio Bootleggers - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Christian Davis (190-F) of Jamestown J. - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Glisson becomes sole owner of the Lake Michigan Admirals once again - 3 months ago
As of Monday, August 7th, 2017, Chris Glisson will officially be the sole owner of the Lake Michigan Admirals once again. The James family, who had major plans to move the team to Warren, Michigan, had a huge setback when a major investor group decided that they were not going to be able to help this upcoming season. This put the James family in a financial pinch and that's when Glisson and Mr. and Mrs. James had a meeting to decide what the next step was going to be. Glisson made a very...   [read more]
